Our new drivers side battery box allows you to mount a battery safely and securely in the back of your GU patrol which is compatible with most drawer systems. This perfect for adding your own dual battery system for running accessories such as a fridge / freezer, camp lights, inverters and chargers. The size of the box has been specifically designed to suit most gel and lithium batteries that are available on the market today, allowing for batteries up to 120ah in capacity. The clamping cradle uses 4 threaded clamp hooks to hold the battery firmly in position ready for rough corrugated roads or long haul travel on the black top.

*Mounting brackets - laser cut and powder coated 3mm steel

*Heavy duty battery cradle with 4 threaded clamp hooks

*Aluminum lid - laser cut and powder coated 2.5mm aluminum

*Rubber - 3mm flat rubber to protect the bottom of the battery

*High tensile zinc plated fasteners to mount battery box

*Detailed colour installation instruction manual

PLEASE NOTE:

*SUITABLE FOR DRAWERS WITH A MAXIMUM HEIGHT OF 32OMM FROM THE FLOOR TO THE TOP OF THE DRAWER SYSTEM.

*IF FITTING WITH DRAWERS, THE DRAWERS HAVE TO BE MOUNTED FLUSH WITH THE REAR TRIM PIECE THAT PROTRUDES OUT ALONG THE FLOOR (REFER TO PHOTOS) OTHERWISE THERE WILL BE SUFFICIENT SPACE TO MOUNT THE BATTERY BOX.

*CUSTOMERS MUST CHECK THAT THEIR GU PATROL HAS REAR SEAT MOUNTS, FROM WHAT WE HAVE LEARNT FROM CUSTOMERS IS THAT SOME MODELS (WALKABOUT) DONT HAVE REAR SEAT MOUNTS LOCATED ON THE TOP SIDE OF THE REAR INNER WHEEL ARCH. IF YOUR PATROL DOES NOT HAVE THEM THIS PRODUCT WILL NOT BE SUITABLE.

*BATTERY TERMINALS MUST BE LOACTED ON TOP OF THE BATTERY AND THE TERMINAL POSTS NO MORE THAN 50MM FROM THE FRONT EDGE OF THE BATTERY OTHERWISE THEY MAY BE TOO CLOASE TO THE BATTERY BRACE, WITH COULD CAUSE THEM TO RUB OR SHORT THE TERMINALS.

*ONLY SUTIABLE FOR SEALED BATTERIES - PLEASE CHECK ADR RULES AND REGUALTIONS IN YOUR STATE OR CONTACT A BATTERY SPECIALIST TO ENSURE THE TYPE OF BATTERY IS SUITED TO THE APPLICATION.

*BATTERY AND 12V ACCESSORY INSTALLATION MUST COMPLY WITH THE ADR RULES IN YOUR STATE, AND IS TO BE INSTALLED BY A QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL.

*WE RECOMMEND INSTALLATION WITH A REAR CARGO BARRIER TO MAXIMISE PASSENGER SAFETY IN THE CASE OF ACCIDENT.
